New position currently open: PROGRAM ASSOCIATE

Position Description & Responsibilities:

The Program Associate will report to the Executive Director and will support SDF programs, manage and implement internal controls along with other quality assurance practices. This is a full-time salaried position ranging between $31,000 to 33,000 per year based on the applicant’s experience. The Program Associate will play an essential role within the organization. Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with planning and execution of SDF programs
  • Intern and Volunteer management
  • Manage general SDF correspondence (includes inquiries received via email & by telephone)
  • Support SDF Executive Director
    • Manage business process and information flow
    • Oversee internal controls
    • Update the ED on compliance changes for municipal, state and federal funding and fiscal sponsorship guidelines
    • Facilitate and schedule meetings with staff and artists
  • Support Program Director
    • Manage donation correspondence
    • Maintain all online accounts and databases such as Insightly
    • Compile Survey Data

Preferred Qualification Requirements (3 to 5 years of experience):

  • Business, operations or program management experience within a non-profit setting
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills, with demonstrated experience managing multiple projects effectively and collaboratively
  • Demonstrated experience managing workload effectively and following through on execution of logistics and deliverables
  • Ability to take initiative and build or improve upon systems and processes
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Adept oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with CRM programs such as Insightly, all MS and Google products
  • Familiarity with submission management software such as Submittable
  • Some knowledge of budgeting and bookkeeping
  • Racial Equity Institute (REI) training (preferred)
